Helen Jean Trout Arrowood Norman, 83, of Forest City passed away on April 29, 2019. She worked as a seamstress and later as a hairdresser but most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Helen was always up for an adventure and lived life to the fullest. She was the daughter of the late Bob Trout and Robbie Novella Millwood Trout. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband’s James Arrowood and Clyde Norman. Left to cherish her memory are her children; James Arrowood of Forest City, Rick Dean Arrowood of Shiloh, and Rita Arrowood of Rutherfordton; grandchildren; Maggie Lewis (Travis), Erin Arrowood, James Cameron Arrowood (Lindsay) and Wendy Whitesides; great grandchildren Erionna Arrowood, Malachi Drayton, Elizabeth Whitesides, Izreal Palma, Kaydence Arrowood, Peyton Arrowood, Gabriel Lewis, Spencer Lewis and Jasper Lewis.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 5PM at Crowe’s Funeral Home on Friday May 3, 2019. A celebration of life will follow at 5PM in the Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev.
