Dorothy PeeplesShelton, age 89, of Lake Lure, NC passed away on November 28th 2019 at Mission Hospital. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Harry David Peeples Sr. and Gladys Mary Cook Peeples. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband William Jackson Sr, second husband Sidney Shelton, and a brother Jimmy Peeples. Left to cherish her memory are her children Bill Jackson Jr. (Robin), Lyn Weaver (Michael), Ann Kolpin (Carl), Doug Jackson (Cindy),Scott Jackson (Jackie); grandchildren Bill Jackson III, Karen Parsell, Doug Good,Andy Good, Tara Roebuck, Jim Arthur, Ashley Bates, and Ryan Jackson; many greatgrand children, and one great great grandchild; brother Harry Peeples, sister Frances Baumgardner; In her honor a memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday December 4th 2019 at Fairfield Mountain Chapel with the Reverend Everette Chapman officiating, 1384 Buffalo Creek Rd, Lake Lure, NC 28746.
